Just a few reminders:
- maternity clothes (pressed and on hangers)
- children's clothes (wash'em and lay'em flat in a laundry basket)
- shoes (machine-wash and pluck the velcro)
- equipment (machine-wash the fabric parts and wipe down the plastic)
- don't forget batteries!
- put your cloth diapers out in the sun to get out stubborn stains

No cardboard boxes, please - we have discovered that there is an odor associated with them. We don't know "why", but it is unpleasant when mixed with the various laundry soap smells.

Consignment Policy
"Consignment" means that Y&R will sell the things your child has outgrown, and you will receive
a percentage of the sales. It is normally much more profitable and fun than a garage sale!
We sell just about anything that has anything to do with children.
We do not sell car seats.
Clothing is seasonal only.
Even if your items were clean when you put them away, please follow these guidelines:
Wash clothes.
Iron as needed.
Lay them flat in a laundry basket
*or* bring them on hangers.
PLEASE do not fold them or stuff them in a bag or box!
Shoes must be washed.
No dirt, dust, spit-up, smoke, hair, or crumbs.
Toys must have batteries.
We pay 40% of the selling price, after your items sell.
The consignment period is 90 days.
All items are subject to scheduled price reductions.
As your items sell, money will accrue on your account, which you can
collect as scheduled on the calendar.
Or, you may spend your credit in the store.
Please call before you bring large items -
we sometimes have to limit certain items.
Baby equipment and outdoor toys (clean and ready to sell, please) are always in demand.
The earlier you get clothing to us in the seasons, the more money you could earn.
We do not sell car seats or used breast pumps
Due to the volume of incoming consignments, we donate items that do not meet our standards.
